This was a nice little page to see. Obviously, we all know that Facebook is the best social site on the web (sorry, MySpace lovers) but I was very surprised to see our very own dA on the list. Admittedly I very much dislike the popularity contest that seems rampant on dA at times, but overall I happen to like this site - this community - very much.

As such, it's great to see dA recognised for being a great social networking site. Sounds a little soppy, I know, but I'm glad to be a member of this site as much for the friendships - both online and in the flesh - as I am for the opportunity to showcase art.

What I'm saying, through teary eyes (or not), is that I really appreciate my dA friends, both here and abroad. You know who you are...
