New month, new image, new subject - does it get any better? I think not, especially when said new subject happens to be the most stunningly beautiful I've ever shot - a statement not to be taken lightly...

My weekend down in Melbourne was all about Ellena. We shot in only a couple of locations but they both provided so many different situations that I managed to get through well in excess of 600 images.

We'll be getting together again a little further down the track for an entirely different sort of shoot. I think you may be surprised by that one when the time rolls around...

For now, though, I present some of my favourites.

I really like your style!!!! :D
Of the 3 latest I think I like the B&W the most. Nice eyes.

It's a pity we (photographers) need to watermark our work doesn't it. It's a little distracting on the face. But you got to do what you got to do.
Awesome shot! It has such an air of nobility to it, with the amazing jewellery and her great expression (with equal hints of arrogance and cheekiness). The composition is spot on... I particularly like how you've used the curve of the basket to enclose the scene. Two really minor things: you should clone out the zip on the bottom left pillow and the highlight on her upper lip is a little distracting. But that's nitpicking at the highest degree... it's just a phenomenal shot!
Thank you so much, Veronica! Really pleased you do... :thanks:

Yes, sadly it's a necessity. I know my work doesn't yet generate millions of views (I'll keep dreaming about that one) but by the same token, image theft seems rife these days and I'm not willing to risk someone stealing credit for my work.

On a cheerier note, I'm really pleased you like this. As rich as the colour version is, I like the classical feel of the black and white... :thanks:

Wow! Umm... thank you! :blushes:

That's quite high praise, Ian. And I'm so very pleased you like it. Thanks also for featuring it. The wonderful thing about our hours of shooting over two days is that I probably gave instruction on at most 50 out of the 600 images. Ellena's just such a natural...

Can't say I have any experience with working with models (except Aaron last weekend :P) but can certainly appreciate the way you both are able to create such images. And man that's a lot of shots :o
It is a lot of shots, yes, but when you have such an engaging subject it comes easily. Factor in the obligatory changes of attire as well as different locations within locations and it starts to make sense. Naturally you try to cover as much as possible, and I think we managed that...
